Your rights by region

This page explains our common processing practices. Read it with the Türkiye KVKK notice for processing within that law’s scope, the EU/EEA notice where the GDPR applies, and the UK notice where the UK GDPR applies. More than one law may apply to the same processing. Page language, nationality or country selection does not by itself decide the applicable law. The regional links below explain the relevant legal grounds, rights and complaint routes separately.

Scope and responsibilities

This policy explains personal data processing for the PatiPilot website, enquiries and PatiPilot Kuaför accounts. Zeynep Doğa Bayraktar Zuğurlu (DOĞA PET GROOMING), as the PatiPilot service provider, acts as controller for visitor, enquiry, account, support and its own business transaction records. Each salon determines the purposes and use of customer, pet-owner and appointment records it enters and is their controller; PatiPilot processes those records on the salon’s instructions to provide the service.

Information involved

Depending on the feature used, data may include name, business name, email, telephone, explicitly selected country/city and other location fields, enquiry and support correspondence, account and permission details. Salon records may contain customer contacts, pet details, grooming notes, appointments and transactions entered by the salon. Pet information can be linked to personal data through its owner. Depending on the feature, processing may also include uploaded pet/grooming photos, people visible in those photos, and staff/work records. Technical services may generate connection, security, error and transaction logs; do not include unnecessary identity documents, payment-card or health information in enquiry forms.

Purposes and legal grounds

Where applicable, processing necessary to respond to a pre-contractual request or perform the service relies on establishing or performing a contract; statutory requirements on legal obligations; disputes on establishing, exercising or protecting a right; and proportionate security and abuse prevention on legitimate interests that do not prejudice fundamental rights. Optional analytics and marketing choices are assessed separately. Acknowledging a privacy notice is not explicit consent.

Service providers and international processing

Vercel provides the web application infrastructure, Supabase database and authentication infrastructure, Resend account emails, and Hostinger support and contact email. Cloudflare services are used for form security and may provide backup storage; backups can involve a separate storage provider. PatiPilot operates from Türkiye and these providers and their subprocessors can process information internationally. Recipients receive data within the scope needed for the relevant service; disclosures to competent authorities may be made as required by law. Applicable transfer rules are explained separately in the EU/EEA, UK and Türkiye notices. An EU server location or acknowledgement of this notice does not itself establish a lawful transfer mechanism.

Retention and security

Retention assessments take account of the ongoing service or request, account status, statutory retention duties, dispute periods and security needs. Records whose processing purpose has ended are handled under applicable law and deletion procedures; backups and records subject to legal retention may remain for different periods. There is no single retention period or promise of immediate automatic deletion for every record. Access controls and security measures are used; processing over the internet does not guarantee zero risk or end-to-end encryption.

Choices and requests

Use Cookie preferences to change analytics and marketing choices. Replies to your enquiry do not subscribe you to advertising. You can withdraw optional product-email preferences by contacting support. If you enable browser notifications, notification-subscription endpoints and device/browser identifiers are processed, and notifications are delivered through the browser/operating-system provider. New-booking notifications use a generic message without customer or pet details. You can disable permission in browser or device settings; notification permission is not advertising permission. The regional notices explain the applicable rights and request procedures. Direct requests about a salon’s customer records to that salon first; requests received by PatiPilot are assessed with the relevant controller.
